I applied for a job in the main hospital earlier this year to join the staff bank as a Healthcare Assistant, and finally had my interview early May....I was successful, hearing that before I even left the interview room.
Anyway, I went through the application process, had all my pre-employment checks such as Occupational Health, references and police checks...these took just over a month to complete.
And finally, Friday morning just gone I received a phone call from the Central Nurse Bank telling me that all my checks were fine, and that I could have my HCA Induction....at long last! They have given me one week until my start date...22nd June! I'm so excited to be going back to the hospital wards after a couple of years working elsewhere.
