Ive seen this cat spit at my cat on one occasion.

Other times when I come into the driveway it is usually sitting near my cat doing its own thing.

I havent seen it attack my cat. I usually hiss at it and chase it away when i see it.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Do you know who the other kitty belongs to? You might want to purchase a break away collar and attach a little note to it, just to make sure the cat is spayed or neutered (as yours should be if allowed outside!
).

I agree with Laurie, but I must add that in my experience, it's my cat who decides to give visiting rights to strange cats.

Yeah, it sounds like they've made friends and are coexisting pretty happily.

So long as your cat is fixed and has flea protection and the required vaccinations, it should be fine.

Really, they seem to be getting along fine. If you can, try to find him/her's (I hate people calling animals "it") owner. If that doesn't work, try to lure the cat into a carrier and take him/her to the vet, fix him, and adopt him out. There's a huge problem of stray cats, and I'm sure the cat will appreciate it.

On a side note, letting your cat outdoors is extremely risky.
