I thought it was a total hoot! Some (not all) of my gay friends were quite insulted by it though. They felt that they had been struggling so hard to be accepted by society and that the show was essentially mocking them despite some of the cast being gay, and that it was setting gay awareness and acceptance backwards. Others just took it at face value as funny comedy.
