If you drove south in your car from where you are right now what State/border/Providence ect. would you cross first?

If I headed South I would drive right into the Gulf of Mexico.

I would hit Rhode Island in less than a mile, but then not long after I would hit the Bay and then the Atlantic.

If I lived just a few miles to the east, then it would be the Atlantic.

I guess if I went straight south I would end up on the Border of New York and
Pennsylvania.
Of course I would have to figure out how to get across Lake Ontario first.

Neat question.

If I were to drive straight south, I would end up in Lake Erie, if I managed to drive through the lake, I would hit Cleveland, OH.

If I actually headed due South, I'd run into North Carolina. That's not really possible because of the mountains, so the closest thing by road would be to take I-75. If I did that, I'd run into Georgia just south of Chattanooga.

Florida, then the Gulf of Mexico. I could also skip Florida and go straight to the Gulf.

No no... No skipping Florida without a visit to me first! I'm right under you!

Then we could go to the Gulf of Mexico and maybe see Rigel swimming around

If I went straight south I'd hit the Ohio/W Virginia border after 4-5 hours, if I veered a little to the west I'd hit the Ohio/Kentucky border

If I headed straight south, I would be at the border of either Kentucky or West Virginia. If I strayed a little to the west, it would be Kentucky, if a little to the east, it would be West Virginia.

Texas. Going a little left or a little right would change anything, Texas is too large.

If I head due south, I hit Santa Cruz bay before I hit any border of any sort... Except county.

If I follow the road south, in about... 12 hours? I'll hit Baja California!

If I drove due south from where I sit, I'd lose the car in the Straight of Georgia before I got to the US border. From home, due south would take me into the Fraser River fairly quickly, but minor deviations would allow me to use first a bridge and then a tunnel, thus saving the car, and from there the first border would be the US border -- into Point Roberts, WA.
