First the sad news
I've been away for a bit over a week, and hubby was looking after the kittens in my absence. Little Charlie, the handsome little tabby developed weakness in his back legs that got worse over the last few days. I got home yesterday and took him to the vet who diagnosed as a congenital spinal defect and said he would only get worse, not better
I made the very tough decision to have him euthanised. DH and I are devastated.
This is him is healthier times:
But the other 2 kittens are doing very well and have grown a heap since I left, and are much more active now.
This is from this afternoon - I only had my iPhone on me, but they're good enough
Sun - oooh mum got new food! (she's a good eater)
Yeah! I might actually eat this one (Kate still prefers mum's milk!)
Receipts are the funnest toys!
Having a quick breather
After an hour of solid playing, they finally crashed, so I took the opportunity to have a cuddle - I plonked Sun in my arms, and she sprawled out and stayed there
She finally got her motor going and looked very content. Made my day - first time she's snuggled with either hubby or me, and first time she's purred from us patting her
