picked up my kitten and she peed on me

I do not know if this was an accident or if I should be alarmed. My 8 month old had been on the patio for a few hours (I live in FL. and it is very hot here today) I assume she had drank a lot of water. I went to pick her up to bring her in for bed time and she tinkled on me. She seemed as confused as I was. I have never had a urinary problem with her or my male cat Stubby, but I read so much about them here. I never feed any seafood meals to either of them and feed Innova or Artemis wet food and California Natural dry for breakfast. Does anyone think I have a problem or think this was just a fluke...Thx in advance GO MAGIC!!!

It may have just been a fluke, at very least I'd keep a close eye on her. If you suspect any urinary issues, get her tested for a UTI ASAP.

If she drank a lot of water and she didn't urinate for a few hours, you might have just pressed her bladder enough to release some urine when you picked her up. The Vet I go to pressed one of my guys on the examining table and some urine came out. But just watch for a while too see if theres a problem.
