lol oops!

I feel bad, even as I'm laughing my butt off.
My sweet, not too bright, incredibly cute Jade was laying on the couch looking at me so I reached out to pet her.

Apparently she was asleep with her eyes open.

She startled and came 2 feet straight up from the couch, all hissing teeth and claws wrapped in black fur standing on end.

I couldn't keep from laughing even as I was trying to soothe her.


There's a life lesson there, I'm sure.

I've seen that move. Once tried to move a cat from the front of the TV (he was enthralled by Jack Palance). I touched him and I swear he shot straight up and spun several times before running off.
