I am now a member of a Siamese Rescue group on Yahoo!
This is a cross-posting:
at the Spalding County Animal Control in Griffin, Georgia. Usually
these cats/kittens find adopters fast but not this week - and the
economy isn't helping. The shelter is full and either we find some
rescues or 20 cats face death by gassing on Friday - and these three
will be among them.
Beta is a an adult male and Stardust & Milkyway are babies. One is a
female and the other is a male - they look to be about 6 weeks old.
All cats adopted from Spalding County Animal Control come with a
spay/neuter voucher which includes a FREE rabies vaccination. This
voucher allows you to get your cat spayed for $30 or neutered for $20.
Our rescue picks up the rest of the cost.
All cats and kittens also receive a FREE fvrccp vaccination. The shelter
charges a $35 cash adoption fee. If you happen to adopt a kitty that
hasn't received his shot yet, you can contact blowe@optonline. net to
arrange for the shot to be given in Griffin.
If you wish to adopt one of these cats, please CALL (do not e-mail) the
shelter IMMEDIATELY at (770) 467-4772 to arrange for the paperwork to be
filled out (in person or by fax) PRIOR to 4:30 p.m. on the cat's listed
date.
ALL RESCUES MUST BE REGISTERED AND MUST FAX THEIR INFORMATION INTO THE
SHELTER .
Please help get these cats out if you can!
