now she knows because I yelled her name...(she's like me, nose in a book, you have to yell to get my attention away from the book)

She's beautiful.
I see myself in her, the way she is lounged in the sun, so absorbed in the book that she didn't notice you photographing her. My mom has photos of me like that from when I was young. She looks so happy!
You must be doing a great job.

Thanks
My older one is turning 13 on July 20th. Honestly, I prefer the 9-10 age LOL.... Independent but not fully, not moody and hormonal, able to stay home alone for short times, etc.

Hard to believe that my first born will be having her gr. 8 graduation next June
Where'd that little baby go????

Even my old one did, but this one of course is better, bumped up from 6mp to 10mp, and 20x optical zoom vs 12x. It does make a difference for sure.

Indeed she is, she loves to read...both of them do. But I tried to start them early, read to them at bedtime as babies, always talked to them in "big words" not "does baby want a baba", and taught them to read as soon as I can. Kendra is a little pickier though, she'll only read certain books and has trouble picking out books from the library. She's read the Harry Potter series and the Twilight series. Kayleigh on the other hand, will read almost anything... But both of them get so engrossed, you either have to raise your voice, throw something at em or touch em. I spent one night, me and Kay were on the couch reading, I started poking her feet... repeatedly... she never looked up and she has ticklish feet. I poked her leg, no response. Bout 5mins of me poking her, nothing. So I pinched her bum LOL. Got her attention.

O-H-I-O!
She is beautiful!

Usually I am like that also. Lately, I have been having trouble finding good books. My mom and dad also started me reading young. I could read by the age of 3

Sorry I haven't been here for a couple days and missed this post.

Your daughter is soooo cute!!
I love her little freckles
Please take TONS of pics of your babies, they grow up way too fast and they make such great memories later! Are you into scrapbook decorating? (I'm not sure what they call it) Since you're so good at taking pics, I'm thinking you are

No no.... Its an adult fiction
It wasn't bad for someone who normally writes kids/youth books.

Thanks for all the compliments.

I have to take a pic of her hair for ya'll. I
it. It's almost to her bum... I actually measured it one day from scalp to end and it was close to 3feet if my memory is right.
