Cruch berries are NOT real fruit

Check out the stupidity of this lady:

It took Janine Sugawara four years of daily eating a box of Cap'n Crunch Crunchberries before she finally discovered that Crunchberries are not an actual berry and not even a fruit. I'm guessing she finally wised up when she went to a Home Depot looking for a Crunchberry plant for her backyard.

Well, Janine was ticked off at The Cap'n so she sued him for fraud in Federal Court and said that most reasonable people would also think that a Crunchberry is a real berry. Ummm. No. Most people would realize that a Crunchberry is a colored ball of cereal called a berry to make you feel better about yourself that you are eating a product where the number one ingredient is sugar.

Now, I myself don't eat Cap'n Crunch. Oh, I love it. Desperately love it. The sugar isn't why I don't eat it. The reason I don't eat it is that it rips the top of your mouth to shreds like car tires in a COPS episode.

The judge in the case also said there is no mention of the word fruit on the box and to his knowledge "there is no such fruit growing in the wild or occurring naturally in any part of the world called a Crunchberry."

Yet another case of trying to sue for being stupid. Like the person who burnt themself on HOT coffee, the person who got morbidly obese from eating nothing but McDonalds, and a slew of other morons. I will mention smokers, though I am one, who sued for health related problems before the warnings were all over the packs of ciggys, and after! Never read an article, see TV, hack up a smurf in the morning and think its healthy?

PS: I do have a crunchberry tree, I keep it next to the Tomacco plant, which is next to my book on how to provide CPR.

I agree what a waste of time and money

I really like John's idea. If people knew they could be sued for wasting court time over this sort of insanity, it might bring this sue-happy generation back on track.

On a similar note, and this is truly real, my husband was shopping with me one day and saw a "Bumbleberry" pie. He loves berry pies and decided he needed to try one. When we got in the car and were driving away from the store he mentioned to me how he had not heard of this new "hybrid bumbleberry". I almost choked laughing and when I explained to him that Bumbleberry pie was just pie with a mixture of different berries, he laughed almost as hard as I did. We can still get a chuckle out of this when it is mentioned.

I love Idiocracy!! I wish this woman could be counter-sued for this crazy lawsuit. How could anyone possibly be that stupid?

Boggles the mind, doesn't it?

Stupid people shouldn't breathe. I can only hope something stopped this one from reproducing.
