I have a 10 week old kitten that we just started to let out of his room to socialize with our older cat Tiki. The kitten runs to Tiki's bowl any chance he gets to get in on Tiki's food and water. Tiki usually leaves a bit of food left over for later snacking. So the kitten usually can find sometihng to eat there.... Is it bad for the kitten. I saw him vomitting into the litter box one day after eating Tiki's wet food.

The kitten has his own food, water etc in his own room where he has been kept for the first 1-2 weeks. Why does he prefer Tiki's food and water?

If you are socializing the two of them together, the kitten is bonding to Tiki's scent and running where it is the strongest (the food area) For all intents and purposes the kitten should still be on kitten food- it needs the nutrients. Do you have a cat condo? Or a high shelf? Could you start feeding Tiki up high, so the little one can't scent the food? Vomiting on a small kitten means the risk of the kitty becoming dehydrated quickly.
