I must say, I am not overly impressed by the ingred list... rice, corn and corn listed in both in the first 5.

The only reason I'm asking about this food, is for the beneficial bacteria in it... but after checking the ingreds...I'm not so keen on it, and think I might just stick with adding the Holistic Solution to their foods.

Has anyone fed EP, if so, did it help with digestive upsets?

Many, many foods have the bacteria in them... the argument is how do they keep it alive thru what is for most a "streaming" process ... Some add it after cooking ( yeah the crumbles in the bag have is
) , Some use freeze dried ( I prefer this ) and other s wont tell you...IMHO honestly HOW much can it be when it is dead last in ingredients??

As far as a general food Eagle pack I find to be one of those lead you into way better foods foods
... Many who whose it came off grocery or sub premium

Thx Sharky.

Eagle pack here is actually quite expensive... I wouldn't consider it if I was trying to switch from grocery store brand to something better.... TOTW is cheaper than EP.

But yup, thanks for reinforcing my thoughts, I'll stick with the HS.

I don't know about the cat food from Eagle pack but the dog food they have two lines. One is the premium and the other is Holistic Selects. The latter is the better one - I wouldn't touch the premium line. I feed my adult cat EP Holistic Selects canned food as he has a sensitive tummy and it seems to agree with him and he really likes it. In terms of price, it's reasonable where I am; I don't know the exact price but I get the 12 oz cans which are cheaper than the 5.5. oz cans of Nature Variety's Instinct at $2.49 each.

I had tried their multi-cat one but the cats slowly stopped eating it. They did ok on it just seemed to move towards the other feeds choices, i also had it for the dogs but i found i wasn't getting the soft coat i was after so i changed foods.
