hee hee hee. I was waiting till I got my new camera.

K, I have a front garden, a ) and a rear garden (what is against the deck).

I did not get pics of the front right now, so we'll start with the front side garden (goes along the side of the garage and stops for the door, the AC unit, etc). It is roughly 20ft long and you can't see it all in this pic.

the next pic is the same garden when I first put it in ummm 4 or 5yrs ago

That garden consists of hostas, soloman's seal (which needs to be split up), variegated solomans seal, several batches of lilies (asiatic and oriental...once they bloom I will get some pics) and 2 batches of iris.

a rear side garden (same side only furthur back, after building the deck last year we continued this bed on to around the side of the deck)

when I first planted it 3yrs ago:

and now:

The above garden has hostas, couple iris and lilies along the side ( can't even tell there's a gas meter hidden there eh... its under the hostas LOL ), a lilac bush at the corner, then rounding around to the rear of the house, a sedum, I forget the plant with pink flowers, dwarf alberta spruce in the corner by the deck, variegated euonymous(sp) , 4 bunches of yellow daylilies, some gladiolous(sp) and a few annuals.

Now we have the rear garden, which is against the face of the deck. We will be putting an arbor over the concrete steps at some point, and its still a work in progress.

When we started it last year:

Now:

This one has purple leaf sandcherries (4), euyonomous (4) and I forget what the others are called. (There's a couple hanging baskets and some potted gr. peppers in there right now too)

We have the other side started, going back along the deck.... It has dwarf alberta spruce, some I don't know the names of, lilies, 3 sedums, few hostas... we need to finish bricking it and then I'll take a pic

Hope you enjoyed the pics.

I miss Wisconsin
You all are making me so jealous.
Very beautiful. My Coleus did not come up this year I have patio pots that have nothing but dirt in them. Arug! Time to go to the garden shop I guess.

WOW Chris! It was beautiful before, now it's gorgeous!!
I LOVE hostas
It's all so beautifully displayed! You certainly have a green thumb! What a lovely appealing walkway to your front door
You can tell you put a ton of work into it

What type of bushes are those on the other side of the walk?

Thanks

The walkway part: When we moved here we opted out for a driveway due to we wanted concrete but couldn't afford it. 2yrs ago, we finally got the driveway done, which included the walkway and the porch in stamped colored concrete
It looks so much better when it is resealed though. There's 3 different shades of grey in it.

Aside from the cedar, the bushes are euonymus. We have the green and yellow, and the green and white.
