I realized I haven't posted very many of my dog videos here so here is a sampling. Some are LONG so maybe you want to save them for when you are really REALLY bored!

My ball obsessed dog Zircon:

Those are great!

I really liked the one with Sophie and Zircon running along the AT. I've only been on it once and only for a very short time. Beautiful country!!

And you have a great back yard. Do you live close to the AT, so that you can take your kids out there a lot? They seemed to really know the trail pretty well.

Am I right in thinking the AT is the Appalachian Trail? I would love to hike on that one day. Your dogs sure seem to be enjoying it! Wonderful that you get them out often.
I watched the "Who killed Mr Grunty Badger?" video too!

Ooops soory, you're right. "AT" stands for Appalachian Trail. And no we're not all that close. It's about 1-1/2 drive so by the time we do the drive, the hike and come back it's a whole day. We usually stick to the smaller mountains nearby. We're inbetween some smaller ski areas so there's no shortage of hikes. It's just that we've hiked everything within a 30 mile radius at least 20 times so once in a while we venture out.

Momofmany our backyard is a doggy playground. We have a total of 14-1/2 acres, two of them are cleared. What you're seeing is our front yard. We live at the end of a dirt road (it's 1/3 mile to our mail box) and have a 1 km hiking loop through our own woods so the dogs have it pretty good.

That's awesome!! I sometimes miss the 10 acres we used to own. We bought it when we had our 2 greyhounds and mowed a track for them to run around. When we bought the property is was mostly hay (1 acre woods), and by the time we sold it 13 years later, it was sold as wooded. We had our own hiking trail across the property so we could check on all the trees we planted (over 1000). The 5 dogs we had loved to take that walk with us - we figured it was about 3/4 mile.

I think what I like about your videos the best is to see how happy your dogs are, and how controlled they are when they are out romping. I personally hate leashes, and love the walks in open areas so they can romp. Dogs are so much happier when they romp.
