Is this right? Male/female acceptance

Do fixed females more readily accept a male cat? Only male cats are what I have seen her tolerate, her and the other female cat that lives under the same roof do not like each other. Linda

I don't think there is any hard and fast rule- I think it has to do with the temperment of the cat and the position it holds in the family.

What is weird is she is ill tempered and a B---h to female cats. She even lunges at, scratches and bites me when she is mad, so am I just shocked that she is seeming to enjoy the company of that cat, she wallows around on the cement and they both lay on the porch. If you knew my cats personality, beleive me you would be shocked as well, but I am just glad it is working out this way instead of fights. Linda
