The Baltimore 500 - Save 500 cats/kittens

The Michigan Humane Society is doing the same thing here... any cat over the age of 4 mos is free (no adoption fee) - but all of the testing, vaxes, etc. apply. That is a terrific deal. I know our tiny little foster-based rescue cannot do that. I know the MHS is losing operating money over it. That is how bad things are around the country re: cat/kitten overpopulation.
