Hi everyone!
I'm new here, so I just thought I'd say hi! We have a full house with 4 cats and 2 dogs (a 10-year-old German Shepherd named Kodi and a 10-month-old Golden Retriever named Tucker). Our cat's names are Bailey, Scooter, Abby, and Eddie. The cats usually all sleep in the bed with us, so it's a good thing we have a big bed! Bailey and Scooter both have birthdays in August. Bailey will be 6 and Scooter will be 4. We have had both of those boys since they were little kittens. Abby is a jet black Maine Coon and she just turned 2 last month. We got her from the shelter last fall. She is totally attached to my husband and sleeps on top of him and kneads on him every night. She's mainly a daddy's girl, but she occasionally enjoys spending time with me as well. Eddie is our new 16-week-old Russian Blue kitten who was born on Valentine's day. We just got him in April and he is the craziest kitten I have ever had! He gets into absolutely everything and anything and is extremely vocal, but he's adorable. He can jump EXTREMELY high for his little size and can RUN! It seems like he rarely ever sleeps. That boy gets into sooooo much trouble and sometimes drives the other 3 cats crazy with his antics! He also loves to play in the bathtub when there is a little water in it. He can be extremely affectionate and snuggly, but only when he's really tired, which is very rare! Yesterday morning we got up to the kitchen looking like a tornado had hit it. The curtain had been completely ripped down from the window, magnets from the fridge were on the floor, my cell phone had been ripped out of the charger and was on the floor, the freezer door was open, and there was little Eddie sitting in the sink not looking so innocent! I guess that's Russian Blue kitten for you!
Our oldest cat, Max, passed away almost 7 months ago and we miss him very much, but our other animals help to fill the void. We actually adopted Abby from the shelter the day after Max passed away and her attitude and dispostion remind us so much of Max (laid back, very affectionate, and kind of lazy). We call her the female version of Max.
I hear Eddie getting into something that he shouldn't be out in the kitchen (again), so I'd better go check on him. I just wanted to stop in and say hi!
