i love both authors but Michael Slade doesn't seem to be that well known in the u.s. but popular in canada. i love F.Paul Wilson's 'Repairman Jack" books.

michael slade is canadian but it's actually a father/daughter team writing under that name. it's pretty graphic horror usually involving a psychopath and the special x force. but he always has a lot of strange real history as background in his books.
f. paul wilson is an american horror writer and his repairman jack novels are about a repairman that 'fixes' the bad guys. it has a lot of supernatural stuff in it. i love both authors but their books are hard to find at the regular chain stores.

Sounds like something I might be interested in. I'll check them out. I really make use of our local library so I'll also check to see if they have any. Thanks for the tip.
