It is so funny you are posting this. I was just thinking of posting myself about FG. I just discovered it this year and I love it. It is so hysterical. I keep forgetting to look up Seth McFarlane. Do you know of anything else he has done? I know about American Dad.

This is cool! Family Guy is so well-written I love how it`s full of references and cutaways that are from OUR generation. My teens don`t fully understand these classic homages.I`m surprised that you ladies are also fans. Most women I ask about FG just roll their eyes.

American Dad is wonderful but also a totally different animal. It is NOT FG. If you are new to FG I advise holding off on AD for a nice long time.Otherwise you will try and compare the two and won`t fully enjoy American Dad in it`s own right.BTW,I do an incredible Cleveland imitation. It blows people away! lol

Favorite FG character? Mine is Peter,of course! My favorite 2nd string character is Bruce(aka Gay Drama Guy)and I`ll give an honerable mention to Mort Goldman.

Did anyone watch the Blue Harvest Star Wars parody? It`s well worth buying! So funny and some cool extras!

"Heeheeheheee..." *Peter Griffen voice*

Yeah, Family Guy is sooooo wrong but sooooo funny! I really don't know how they get away with what they do!

Sometimes ya just need some stupid (yet clever) humor.

FH and I love Family Guy! It's the funniest show!

Some people will think this is stupid, but we're walking into our reception of the wedding to "Bird is the Word." Not the Trashman version, we're having the DJ find a clip of it and using the Family Guy version. I have this vision of the DJ introducing our wedding party all nicely to nice and music and everything, then cutting out and saying something like "Oh so I forgot to tell you. Have you heard?" and some of our family (mostly his) and our friends will be like "Heard what?" and that's when they'll start playing it and introduce us. Last Christmas, we were at his parents house and his sister was constantly playing the hulu video clip of it, and everyone (minus his parents) got into it. Even his little nieces and nephew. So we decided it would be a fun way to introduce us. My mom has already given her opinion on it, but I don't care. It's our wedding, and we'll do it how we want

Family Guy puts some edgy and borderline stuff out there. Not sure how they get away with it either(but I`m glad they do!).

I started watching The Simpsons again and am enjoying it!

He was on Real Time with Bill Maher not too long ago. There are clips of it on youtube if you feel like looking. Rather funny, but not something I could link to from here.

I saw some promo material for the first FG spin off on youtube; The Cleveland Show. I have mixed emotions here. On the other hand,if anybody can make it work it`s that group.

Anyone catch The Goode Family on ABC? I watched it after the fact on fancast.com.Nice animation (from King of the Hill team)and shows promise.About a pathologically PC family who takes the "politically correct" to the Nth level.I found it a very well-done show;and liked the premise.Check it out.

Count me in as another Family Guy fan. So deliciously wrong!
I do think sometimes the show suffers from "SNL Syndrome" (don't know if that's a real phrase, so if it catches on I get credit for it!) running on the joke way past the point of funny into it becoming annoying. But a great show!

I love Family Guy! It's so cool seeing Seth McFarlane talking in his real voice. I had read an interview where he said his real voice is mostly like Brian's. I love the Hulu commercial, where he goes through quick versions of all the voices.

Good lookin' guy, too.

I think Brian is my favorite character. But the whole show cracks me up. I love the musical take-offs. The Music Man number - "Shipoopi" - on the football field was absolutely brilliant! If anyone remembers the movie, the choreography was spot on!!!

Brilliant stuff.

Great episode! Shaboopi,Shaboopi,You`re going to get the girl!

Yes,it takes some time before you start to notice and appreciate the attention to detail and the accuracy of some of the movie and pop culture referances seen in FG.Most of the show`s gags become funnier upon reaped viewings.

Seeing the cast members speaking in character is weird. When I say a recognizable Cleveland-ism and use my Cleveland voice people stare then laugh. So far I can laugh a bit like Peter, maybe a line or two but not enough. How does old Seth do it? Used to do a great stewie but got burnt out. lol What the deuce?!

Have you guys seen the last few episodes? Stewie on steroids was too funny!

Cool time to be a teen,eh? I don`t remember any cool or funny animated shows from the 70`s or 80`s. When I was younger there was The Flintstones and The Jetsons(both classic!).These were great.

Now we have Family Guy,American Dad,Simpsons,Futurama and many more.
Keep `em comin`!!
