Positive post.....I hope you'll post

I'm glad I finally have the time and energy (at the same time, mind you) to start sorting and unpacking boxes. I'd like to be much closer to being done with boxes than I originally felt it was going to be... I felt that I wouldn't get unpacked until Christmas! With one of my classes done for the summer, I have Tuesday and Thursday afternoons to muck through things...

I saved $150

Our pool burst just over a week ago.... I went and bought another one on the 11th.... today I was in the same store, and my pool was on for half price

The store has a 7day policy... if you buy something and see it for cheaper, anywhere, they will match it. I squeeked in....today was day 7.....so I got $150 back....which means I basically paid nothing for a $300 pool because I used my points on my card ($150 worth) to pay for it originally.....

I pulled the picnic table into the shade, worked outside in hot, steamy weather - and got a lot done. FINALLY - starting to make some real progress.

I'm positive today because I've spent lots of time on assignments - so I should be able to relax a bit more in the weekend. I'm also positive because the sun is shining and I was on TV this morning!

I am thankful for a wonderful day at the beach, even though I'm sunburnt (yes I wore sunscreen, several times in fact)

I made a little progress on things tonight. Cut out fabric for a new item that will come out for Christmas, made some prototype tags for another new product, planned out samples for a store that is interested in my wares , and went thru a large stack of cross stitch books.

And to top it off, things were busy at work, but progress was made, even to the last call that I took about 30 minutes ago. I'll get a little bit of slack at work tomorrow.

Chris - bummer about the sunburn, but glad you got out and had a nice day with the fam.

Sam - WE NEED DETAILS! Why were you on TV? Did you record it? Gonna put it up on YouTube or something for us? Out with it!

I am thankful and grateful that it was one of the warmest days of the summer and I had nothing to do except to enjoy it,(that was instructions from my dear sweet hubby)SO I DID!

I'm grateful that my supervisors finally found someone to train for one of my little ladies, we haven't been getting along and I was all set to quit my job when they called and said they'd found someone!

I'm also grateful that my mom and dad are coming to visit this weekend to help hem my dress and have dinner with my daughter who turns 23 on Saturday.

Hope you have a great visit with your parents, and is this all you have to do with your dress? If so, that's great....it'll be ready by the end of the weekend

LOL! I was filmed while I was judging last weekend.

I didn't record it and I don't have a copy. There was no sound though just me presenting my top 3 cats!

It's Friday, and its a nice day out.... That's something to be thankful about

Tonight, I'm going to the local minor league team's game. Always a little wierd with coworkers and boss, but still fun. Free baseball game, why not?

I'm thankful that I have meds that somewhat work, and with any hope, doc will give me a better dose today if not, even 50% pain reduction is better than what I was getting.

I am very thankful for my family and friends

I'm thankful for my parents and how much they are helping with the wedding. Dad used to be a florist and he's going to do my bouquet and mom is sewing my veil. Love them so much!

I am thankful that I can provide for my family (furkids and human) without having to ask for money.

It is such a sad time right now for people that are unemployed

I'm pleased that my best friend had her baby today (at long last!)

I'm thankful that I made my daughters day by bringing her to my hubby's motel She's never been in a motel before.

I'm thankful that people are finally starting to make some effort to come pick up stuff I don't want anymore. I know that's a silly, little thing, but since I've downsized my living quarters, I'm trying to get rid of things I don't need...
