Congratulations! Now that really is good news!
I'm so happy because I only have 1 more day left of work, then I'm on vacation for a week!!!!
We're also heading to Maine tomorrow evening, with my best friend, to spend a weekend relaxing on the beach and shopping!

I'm thankful to have gotten in contact with an old friend today
I am happy that I had a nice relaxing day today.
We have been having such damp weather which for me means tons of aches and pains.
So today I said to heck with it, rented 3 of my favorite movies, made some junk food and spent the day on the couch with the kitties napping and watching tv. The reason I am happy is because despite everything no matter how tired, achy, and irritable I am it still takes very little for me to snap myself out of it. It is a ablitity that has served me well over the years and I am sure will continue to serve me well.
Kudo's to my unsinkable spirit......

I got the valances made for my sun room yesterday and they look marvelous!! The room needed a splash of color and it's really perked up that room.
And better yet - I can go to work tomorrow knowing that I won't be losing my job.

I am thankful for grandparents
(well, to me they would be my in-laws....but my kids grandparents..... awesome, amazing people)
I am thankful that I have my health even admist all the chaos right now. I am also blessed to have some wonderful friends that I can depend on to help my dad.

Today I am very happy because I got an early birthday present from my brother which was a voucher for a craft supply site
even though i am feeling quite down in the dumps today my beautiful 4 year old son said 'i love you mummy' and my kitten purs loudly when i just sit next to him! thank god for beautiful people and animals both inside and out.

I am so very thankful that I got my break, had some good "me" time and am in a better emotional state than I was prior to going away
(and my kids are thankful too LOL... Mom is so much more fun when she's not down and moody)

Tonight I'm thankful that Cotton's appetite is back and he seems to be doing well on his medication. I'm also really happy that the rain held off long enough that I could get my flowerbed rebuilt this weekend.
