should have posted this Friday.
My daughter was taking free swim lessons sponsored by her school. Anyway Friday was her last day they gave ever kid the chance to dive of the diving board and though she never got past level 2. Level 1 is beginner and level 5 is consider able to swim. Anyway my daughter got up on that board and jumped in like she had done it a hundred of times
i was so proud of her

Even though I'm back at work after a week off, I'm grateful to see my colleague, she has become a friend to me and is really lovely.

I am thankful for getting my mistake fixed, and will have some sleeping pills tonight.... so hopefully i can sleep LOL.

Was my mistake completely. Doc asked if I needed more, I said no because I thought I had one on hold....I don't use them daily, so my script lasts me longer than the amount of days it's prescribed for. Called the office on Sat. after my pharmacy told me I didn't have any left.... doc never called it in

Called back today, got the good secratary who looked it up and faxed it over to the drugstore.... So I can pick em up later.

I am grateful for the absolute euphoria that I felt, dancing in the mosh pit at a festival last weekend (sun 5th july), dancing to my favourite band (Editors), with my gorgeous boyfriend.

I am grateful that in this month already I've attending 3 great gigs, Blur, Kasabian, and Supercasino, and have also been to an amazing festival. I camped for the first time in a long time, and really enjoyed it. It was also my first time camping at a festival, and with my boyfriend, and I loved it.

I'm grateful for the feeling this morning, driving to work with the roof down on my car, with the sun shining on me, and an amazing song playing on my stereo. (Pounding, and There Goes the Fear, both by Doves)

Even though Villy's poorly, and it's all very stressfull, I saw my boyfriend htis morning, and he gave me the lovliest hug, it made it all a bit better, like I wasn't fighting this alone, just for a second. I'm so grateful to have him in my life.

I am thankful for learning my lesson....even if it had to be the hard way, I'm grateful for the ability to understand the mistake I made.

I am thankful for great friends, that my children slept well last night, and that no harm came to them by my stupid mistake of posting online that they were here by themselves. Thank goodness I learned that one by means of having to come home, rather than to have had someone online come and break into my home.

Lesson learnt: never ever admit ONLINE that you are going away

I'm grateful that, even though I had no intention of getting a new car for at least another year, I found a good one that was in my limited price range and that the mechanics refused to continue racking up a bill on my old car for somthing they couldn't fix.

I'm going for the silver-lining angle of the old car breaking down for good.

There's no place like home
I saw a group of old friends that I hadn't seen for a while at my friend's 40th birthday party today. It was fun to see everyone again.

I don't think I'm about to be laid off.

How nice is that! Maybe you'll all keep in touch again now.

My positives today are many - hubby and I went to Farmer's market and got lots of goodies. I got all my washing and ironing done and have everything laid out and ready for golfing with my 3 great friends tomorrow.

Hubby is going to a jazz festival while I'm golfing. I really don't like jazz and he doesn't like golf so it's a win/win.

At the kitty's beck and call
My positives today are many too.

Firstly, I was so happy to hear my daughter's voice having safely made it to her destination on holiday. She is always so worried about flying and dropping her off at the airport is hard as she never wants to stop hugging and saying goodbye and that she loves us again...and again....and again...
It's a lovely thing, but I know that she's worried.

Then, on the way home we dropped in on my Mum and Dad and my MIL and got to spend some time with both sets of parents.

When we finally got home Lily was going crazy by the dining room door, miaowing and rubbing round our legs. Once she saw the suitcase last night she was worried that we were going away again. Once it was loaded into the car she was wearing that really doleful "oh so you're leaving me again" expression
so you can imagine how delighted she was when we arrived home

I somehow found out that my boyfriend is planning to propose to me and has picked out a beautiful ring.

But I can't see it yet until he figures out how he wants to ask!

We are also finally making plans to move back across the country to live near my family. This is a very exciting and happy thing!

My positives are not so many lately, so I definately need to pull at the ones I do have.

- I am thankful my husband has a job, even though I'm sick of being a single mom.

- I'm thankful Kendra will wear most of the clothes I bought her for her birthday, even though I'm disappointed I couldn't give her the bday party I think a 13yr old should have.

- I am thankful that I bit my tongue.

I`m back at work 3 days a week after my operation!
I`m sure that feeling will soon wear off but it`s so good to have something to do and some extra pennies and I get to see a whole lot more people.

Three and a half months off was quite enough, thank you!

That is awesome Linny......
If I wasn't so happy for you, I'd be jealous

It is such a nice feeling to have something to do, eh.

On the west side of... of... somewhere.
I'm stoked (Californian Speak) because I just signed the lease on the new apartment in my ideal neighborhood and I move in tomorrow!! It's a cute little place. I have a deck and they provide a little bistro table and two chairs for the patio... it's smaller, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make to live in that neighborhood... pictures forthcoming!! I forgot to bring my camera this morning, so I'll be bringing it with me when I head back down in a bit.

I know I should have posted this on Saturday when it happened but....

I finally plucked up the courage to go and join my local Gym and Fitness Club!
I'm doing this for my own benefit, mainly since I had my car accident in April this year and suffered Whiplash...I need just that little bit more help with pain management, and the Gym can do this for me through Massage Therapy.

It saves me hospital trips, and it's more fun and relaxing also...since I get free use of the Spa pool afterwards, my idea of heaven!
