The puppy has finally figured out that peeing is for outdoors!!

Our landlord said he'd drop some off our rent because we offered to paint the porch and the new stairs that he just repaired. He's even supplying the paint!

Haven't been here in awhile but happy to post some good news - it's been a long time since I've had any of that!

- Got a raise and bonus at my FT job a month ago
- Got a raise at my PT job last week
- Apartment gave me $1000 off my August rent for signing a 12-month lease
- Trapped a mama feral and 4 kittens, TNR'd the mama and found homes for the kittens
- Sent someone here to help get more support than just me with socializing said feral kittens

I'm so very thankful that my vet could see Pax today.

I am also soooo happy the rain seems to be gone for a few days.... Time to get my butt off the computer and go outside.

I'm happy that today was my first day back at the Hospital, it was my first induction day. I've waited almost 3 years to be back there to work and now it's happening!

I am thankful for 2 really great friends that are trying to talk me through this rough time.

I am sincerely thankful for all the thoughts/prayers/vibes that Pax is getting.

In a state of misery w/o my Bella
I am thankful that My Dad's Petscan was better than expected, considering he has lung cancer, time to be grateful and enjoy this reprieve till the next scans.

I am also thankful that when Pepino went missing tonight for a treacherous hour, he was only locked in the pantry with Mario

I am thankful that Pax is now comfortable, and at peace.
His suffering is no more.

I am thankful that my husband stayed home from work today, even though I did not ask him to, and told him he didn't have to.

Your husband sounds amazing. I am glad to hear that you will have him, it's never good to be alone in times of mourning

I'm thankful that I got to eat something other than oatmeal today.
I'm thankful Molly cuddled with me this morning.
I'm thankful that I found a cigarette to smoke today. (I know, very bad me.)

Chris, there are just no words.

Today was my last teaching day of the school year! I will miss my little ones, but I'm looking forward to 2 months "off" (nevermind the course I'm taking, the workshops I'm attending, or the painting/house maintenance I have to do!).

I had an AMAZING day on Joe!!! (my horse lmao) For the longest time I was in a rut with Joe, we used to jump 3'6'' fine and then for over a year, I couldnt go around a course clean, and i was scared of the fences at that height. Well I have been riding another horse along with Joe, named Scotch (little turd head lol) and with jumping him, it has made me realize I know Joe to a T and I became way way more confident on joe. Well today we jumped everything up to 3'6'' again (like our 5-6 lesson so far doing good!) and it was just AMAZING!! I felt like I was doing almost everything right lol. I love my boy!! Also I a excited to take a horse shoeing class tonight! Only they use cadaver (dead horse) legs
, but I a excited!!
