Positive post.....I hope you'll post

Just had to share this. People generally drive far too fast on the street in front of my house. Today when I went out I saw someone in a big SUV actually stop to let a quail finish crossing the road.

Guess that proves that not all SUV drivers are turkeys (I know they're not, but sometimes it's a little difficult to tell).

Today I'm thankful for a job that is mostly fun, with colleagues who are mostly fun, an employer that bends over backwards to be decent, in a setting that is always gorgeous. The sun is shining, everything is green and lovely, and I'm going to do two more tasks, water some plants, and then call it a day, and enjoy the evening and the weekend.

I'm thankful that it's an unbelievably gorgeous day today. Partly sunny at 76degrees with a nice cool breeze!
I'm thankful my family and furries are safe and healthy.
I'm also thankful for recovering quickly from colitis from earlier this week and the swelling has gone done some from my sprained ankle It's been really nice being waited on and getting to be online more

I am thankful because TWO of our cats headbumped Billy (newest kitty rescue) today! And one of them is Lazlo, who has SO been complaining about Billy being here for the past seven months!

I'm also thankful because I got grocery shopping done in record time and a bunch of stuff we needed was on sale.

Yesterday I saved 17$ at Kmart with their double coupon deal!

One of my professors has posted grades... an A. My current GPA is a 3.60... never thought I'd do that... I was a horrid student... Art class hasn't posted yet... I figure a B, but still not bad... considering I was a D student in high school and a C average to low B all through college...


it'll be fun seeing how I do in grad school... I know it'll be a nice challenge...

I am thankful I woke up in a positive mood

I am thankful I've got a beautiful 9 year (and 7 months) old sitting next to me. He's spent most of the day sleeping in a DVD box and he's just too gorgeous. The cuteness of his antics outweigh his weekly need to pee on the front of our TV

I'm also thankful I've got a few days off work as I've got a lot of study to do

Ooh, I have a good one! I'm getting a new apartment!
I went to see it on Friday and it was in surprisingly good condition (it's in an old building), the location is great, rent isn't that bad and my kitties will have a bit more room to run around. And if I'm lucky, the landlord is going to put a new floor in there.
I'll be moving 16th of July or in the end of July.

When I woke up this morning, I had two meatloafs (Kuura and Tomu) staring at me right next to my face, they made me lol.

I am thankful for the day with my hubby before he leaves again.

I am so happy the Mets won yesterday....against the Yankees......after a horrible, disgusting loss the night before.

And I got some good cleaning done yesterday!

Okay, that was yesterday. I have to see what good things happen today. Oh, yeah......I got up!

I am so very thankful that yesterday I had a wonderful day despite being in a lot of pain.

I am also thankful that today I am also in a good mood, not as good as yesterday because I'm slightly nervous about how the week will go, but I know there's nothing I can do about it, it will be what it is going to be.

I'm thankful that my good friend found a new apartment this weekend. Her old one was full of mold and they really needed to get out.

I'm happy that Zero has become downright snuggly in the mornings. He'll come and sit on us while we're in bed, and he purrs intensely.

I just found out my son's leave has been approved and he will be HOME
July 1st for TWO WEEKS!!!!!!

It is very wet outside here too - and bloody cold and I am as snug as a bug in a rug with my pig pajamas from Farmers!
