Goodmorning!

I have a question for my cat loving friends.

I am getting married next weekend!!

And I am going to be spending a few days before the wedding with my family and my fiance and some of his friends will be staying at our apartment.

My question....

Should I leave my cats at the apartment or take them with me to my parent's house?

If they come with me mom would put them in my old bedroom with all the stuff they need. They can't have the run of the house since her cats and my cats don't get along. Well, moo is fine but Tilly and her cat Morgan got into such a fight the last time that the vet called and yelled at me!!

OR Ican leave them where they are at the apartment...the only problem is the last time i was away and my cats were left with my fiance and his friend (who is one of the 3 staying that weekend) they put out a whole tub of catnip and let him eat the whole thing. Which is bad because moo has bad asthma. The other concern I have is that my cats have never met the other 2 people staying over and I'm concerned that my fiance or his guests would leave the door open to the apartment and moo will run out. (Tilly is afraid of everything and will hide in the closet for teh weekend) My fiance does tend to leave the door open and I'm forever reminding him to not let the cats out. Plus all those people might scare them.

What shoudl I do? Either way is going to be really stressful on the cats and I'm just trying to find the least stressful option.

I third that.
If they're going to be stressed anyway this is the option that I think will stress you out the least. You'll know where they are and that they're being properly looked after.

4th that.

Even though they have to spend time in one room, they'll be together, safe and have all they need.

Firsts to all, congratulations!
...

How long you´ll be out?...
you said, FEW days,....Exactly how long?...
I mean if are just 3 or 4 days, maybe don´t will be neceseary the "move" just leave extremely warnings to your relatives about they, but if are more than those days I´ll justify the move to your parents...
...IMO....

Hidde all that you consider dangerous...

No matter how you slice it, there will stress for them. This way, they have your reassurance and you can be certain of their safety -- it also saves you the need to do a number on your fiancÃ[emoji]169[/emoji] and his friends about the kitties' needs.
