I just found out my dad may lose his job. Tonight they are talking about it at town council meeting
. My dad is the main comtributor to our bills and such and we may have to move to get a new job. Just need some vibes. Thanks

I'm so very sorry to read this, Junebug. It is such a difficult time now for many people and it's very scary and sad. I hope your dad is able to find good work soon, and that if you have to move that it is to a place that you will be comfortable in.

Sending lots of good vibes to you and your family.

I hope everything resolves and they decide not to cut his position!!
I was in the exact same position a few months ago with my dad, he works in our city government and they were about to lay off people. Thankfully he wasn't laid off then but you never know there could always be more lay offs so we are still on an edge...
We were going to move too if my dad had lost his job. My parents talked about it but we were going to move to Bulgaria which would have been a crazy thing for me. Well I always could have stayed in the US but with no job and all that wouldn't have worked.
Anyways I hope this is just a false alarm for your family

Hang in there,k? Several of my work buddies have gotten lay-off notices.Times are tough out there! I`m feeling a big crunch with the State of CA`s mandatory 2 unpaid furlough days per month. My prayers go out to you and your family,Junebug.

Um, just as a suggestion, maybe it's time for Californians to examine the state's expenditures and decide on some priorities, such as not providing free health care for illegals, reducing the expenses of education, etc.

I'm just saying...

Our state is a mess.
It's hard even in Missouri to find one, I've also been looking for a long time, the jobs just aren't there.
Lots of that your dad doesn't lose his job!!

I don't want this post to go all political, but a majority of Californians did re-elect Arnie for a 2nd term.
