A document providing confidential details of US civilian nuclear sites was accidentally posted on the internet, the government has admitted.

The 266-page document included the precise location of stockpiles of fuel for nuclear weapons, the Obama administration said.

The Government Printing Office website took down the posting on Tuesday after experts expressed concern.
And why the heck hasn't this been reported in this contry for crying out loud. It isn't even on Drudge. I didn't check Fox, I guess I should.

Oh GREAT. The Government is saying this is no big deal but it seems like a big deal to me.

Yeah, it's a big deal. It was online for a month. According to what I saw on the news today at lunch (yes, it was Fox, just to have "full disclosure" ) Obama meant to be sending it to members of Congress in the first days of May. It wasn't Secret, or Top Secret, but it was Highly Confidential. One step below Secret. It's not something the public should have access to. It not only included site locations (which aren't too secret anyway), but also weapons stashes, locations and details of those, what is actually done at each location, etc.

Here's a link to the story on Fox, as published by the Associated Press: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009...ites-accident/

I understand he wants a transparent government and all, but seriously...
