Mimi is my 14 yr. old longhair. Every spring she grooms herself like crazy & then gets hellatious knots in her fur and I either cut them out as best I can or she pulls them out. Well, this year she's been pulling out so many knots she has very large areas on her body that are totally naked of any fur. She is looking really ratty now. The exposed skin is pink & appears to be healthy. Should I just get her completely trimmed by a groomer then?
