Homemade clam chowder tonight! I think my husband married me for my clam chowder!
Texas toast with that. Picked up a strawberry/cream cheese pudding cake for desert, just a half of one so we don't pig out too much! The clam chowder is pretty fattening on it's own, with the half and half and butter. Just doesn't taste the same without them.

The casserole won. It's in the oven and pretty close to being done. Immitation crab and artichoke hearts with noodles with a custard rather than a thick sauce, and lots of parmesan on top.

Tonight will be BBQ rissoles, thick wedges and some pan fried mushrooms and onions!
Instead of the rissoles we went out and bought some BBQ Steak and I didn't have the wedges either. They'll keep until tomorrow

Think I am doing pasta tonight, with alfredo sauce since I have left-over Mushroom soup from yesterday, just add a bunch of garlic, a few more slice mushrooms and some shredded parm cheese and it's wonderful.

I am thinking Shrimp Alfredo because they have fresh shrimp on at the grocery store this week.
Angel Hair Pasta, and Garlic Bread.

Nothing special planned for tonight. We had Italian sausage last night which were lovely. I made potatoes and just for a change I decided to mash them with cream and butter and added some chives and had fresh baby green beans - wonderful. I need to finish the green beans tonight while they are fresh so will probably have the same veggies but will need to think about meat and pick up whatever I plan to have on the way home.

I know this will probably gross some people out, but Susan will appreciate it: it's liver tonight -- on the BBQ -- with onions and smashed potatoes. There's a lovely mango on the counter that will be a nice foil to this for dessert.

I love liver. Whenever I go to a higher end restaurant and they have Provimi liver on the menu, that's what I order. Amazing stuff! I especially love it with the fried onions. Mmmmmmmmm

I work at an Italian resteraunt, owned by an Italian. He got some liver (not to serve) and cooked it some way and then served it to any employee who wanted it with mayo. It was really good. I like liver.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm, indeed. And yes, liver without onions fails the dress code.

I'm on a BBQ roll. If I get a chance on the way home, I'll pick up some pork chops, but failing that, I have some chicken breasts, that will be quite satisfactory. Caesar salad either beside or under. We had dinner on the lawn last night -- probably tonight too. We take longer about it when we do that -- not a bad thing.

Nope not a bad thing at all, especially when enjoying your wonderful cooking!

Tonight we had pasta and some sauce from a jar. I threw in shrimp, pinenuts and fresh Spanish soft cheese and called it dinner.
Have some pineapple that needs eating for dessert.

Spent most of the afternoon running errands so decided on Chinese tonight. Sweet and Sour Chicken, Vegetable chow mein, and Chinese vegetables with almonds. It was very good
