Tonight is an "Encore" of French dips. Hubby hates leftovers so I am call it an Encore, they do that with repeats on tv, why not dinner

"Leftovers" don't exist in our house -- they are known as "experienced food".
And if you can change the appearance, that's "repurposed food".

Thank you for that info, I will use those in the future. Although I do like the "Encore idea"

Are those like previously-owned cars?
If you change the appearance, I think that they become the ever ecologically correct "recycled" food. lol

Since it is in the '90s here today, we are BBQing NY steak that is on sale and I am serving it with fresh white corn and salad.

love it!

We had microwaved Indian food tonight. I love a good curry, couldn't be bothered coming up with one of my own, and I had at least 10 of the meal-in-a-bag curries in the cupboard! Hey, they were on sale alright? And they are tasty.

Friday night is pizza night. Yeah! No cooking!

We also do the Shabbat blessings Fridays. I would get a challah (bread) each week but we never ate that much of it. Noah's Bagels just started making mini challahs - so cute - which is just enough for us.

Cool rainy day here today so I put the makings for beef stew in the crock pot earlier. Will have that with some homemade biscuits for a early dinner. Also through together a fruit salad from what needed to be used up in my fridge. It has banana's, mango, strawberries, blueberries, and melon in it and looks
That I might just have to have for lunch as well.

Don't feel like cooking, so a frozen dinner it is for tonight.(Salisbury steak w/gravy, mashed potato and carrots.) Now, before everyone makes a squinched up face and says "ewww" I really do love them! Gotta get that full months worth of sodium somehow!

Southern style pork chops, rice, gravy, Green beans, asparagus. Not sure if we will have any room for dessert, but I made brownines just in case

It's cool and grey today, so I'll be choosing from the "comfort food" list. The one certainty is that it will involve ham -- possibly the ham and noodle casserole that we like, possibly M&C with some ham added, possibly ham patties and panfries. There's lots of salad stuff in the house to go with whatever, and some fruit salad left from last night for dessert.

Fran, I always have to make sure to check in to see what you're eating. It always sounds so good.

It's Mexican night here tonight. The guacamole is made, the chicken and beans are done, I'm just waiting for the rice to finish.

Well I went to the farmers market and all I ended up getting was zuccini! Spent over $100 at the supermarket later though. But after all that shopping, all we're having tonight is pre made sushi and some frozen dumplings.
