Ummm...well, the local usage seems to be "prawns" for the big ones and "shrimp" for the small ones. At what size do they graduate from "shrimp" to "prawn"? Your guess is as good as mine.
And they were AWESOME -- some of the loveliest we've had. Five of us devoured 7 pounds. I did in the end put out a bit of a salad bar, since there were a couple present who have recently discovered issues with grains, so I was not sure how they were going to be with bread. And dessert -- yes, even after that pigout we wanted dessert -- was fresh cherries with the third
bottle of wine.
Anyway, that was the first feed of the summer -- we'll do it again once or twice.
And tonight? I think pork cutlets on the BBQ -- I have a really nice little rub that we like. May grill some asparagus and do some nugget potatoes, or maybe do pita sammiches. For dessert, fruit -- there are still cherries, or raspberries, or mango...
