Maybe pasta. I have a mountain of ripe tomatoes that would probably like to get used. I think the basil may be ready to be pinched back, as well. Nice easy meal.

Mmmm...(modified) bulgogi and rice. I had some leftover galbi marinade, and put some sirloin cut thinly into it. It's been marinading for a while, so I hope it's not mush! Maybe some salad, depending on what's in the fridge.

Picked up some ground turkey today so it's turkey burgers for me tonight. I will have them with red onion, pickles, tomato and cheese.
I am going to have caesar salad with them and some strawberries for dessert.

Well, we've had a fair bit of fish lately, and pasta last night. Probably either chicken or pork. Pork chops if I stop and get them on the way home -- we'll see how interested I am in making that stop later. Failing that, there are wings in the freezer. Either way, it's a BBQ night, and there will be a pile of salad to accompany.

On the west side of... of... somewhere.
During my errands this morning, I stopped at Whole Foods and picked up some veggies and stuff. So, I just cooked up my dinner (with leftovers).

Buffalo loin meat, cubed
1 zucchini, cubed
1/2 a yellow squash, cubed
several crimini mushrooms, quartered
whole vidalia onion, rough chopped
olive oil
soy sauce
hoisin sauce
Chinese 5-spice
salt and pepper

sauteed until everything was cooked through... and oh baby... yum!!!

Last night I went to a friend's and we cooked up Mince with Nacho's...YUMMERS.

So I took some home and just had that for lunch!

Tonight I'm working so it will be a lightweight burger for me!

The decision is wings -- that's what the Boy wants. Fine with me. Some yam fries with them, and some coleslaw. We'll figure out sweets after.

Well my parents had BBQ'd hamburgers and I had hot dogs. They had steak fries but I didn't.
I don't like the texture.

Cabernet Pot Roast, Thai Style King Green Beans, Creamed Corn

Thank goodness for pre-made! I personally LOVE microwaveable veggies, so easy, don't have to do much. And the Pot Roast is from Trader Joe's, marinated and ready to be popped in the oven. I can smell it now... YUM!

BTW - has anybody ever surprised themselves? Last night I had pork chops and I didn't want them plain, so I just tossed together some spices, brown sugar, hot sauce (I should mention SUPER hot sauce), and apples. Not measuring, just sprinkling a little of this and a little of that.
Wowee! It came out great! Even my husband (who is not a fan of apples and pork together) thought it was really good. I wish I had paid attention to what I was doing. LOL!

Cajun Lentil Stew, which has peppers, onions, celery, diced tomatoes, lentils, water and andouille sausage. Yum! We will just be having a sweet baguette with that. This meal was requested by the recent college graduate daughter Jenny.

I just had oven baked crumbed fish, tempura wedges and sour cream coleslaw for lunch.

For lunch dessert I had maple & walnut ice-cream.

Yeah OK I'm feeling pretty guilty but it was delicous!

Haha I do that all the time! It's fun, but definitely hard to recreate!
