my DAD wants me to take him clubbing...what!!??

i always tell my dad about this local club that me and some friends go to every other Friday on payday. He always asked me losta questions about it and seems curious to go. I told him the shot and drink girlies walk around in skimpy outfits and then they come out and dance on the bar. so i kept saying that he should come sometime. So last nite im over my mom and dads and hes like hey if you go to that bar friday nite i wanna go! and im like OK!!!

im happy cause it will be a bonding exp for me and dad but at the same time im like this is my dad! I took my mom clubbing in DC but that was my mom. This is my dad....what if he sees guys looking at me? what if guys try to hit on me???

i think im def going to have to have a lil talk with him before hand about that and tell him if any guys come up to me don't worry i can take care of myself LOL

im really excited about it, and im going to try and get as many friends to come as i can, he really needs a fun nite out. Him and my mom are still married but have been on terrible terms for years, its actually very sad. He hasn't been out to anything like this prob since they been married. So i think this is going to be really good for him to get out and have some fun and get his mind off things.

Awww, I hope you guys have a great time! One of the best memories I have of my dad is when my mom was out of town for a week and he met me and my co-workers after work at a local bar we always went to. Of course, it was the middle of the week so our little group (about 20 people) pretty much had the whole place to ourselves, but he had a ball! Before the night was over he was teaching my co-workers how to polka . It was just so good to see him let loose and have a good time. In fact, I had to drive HIM home that night!

I wouldn't worry too much about the guy thing. I'm sure your dad realizes that you are a grown woman and can take care of things yourself, but mentioning it to him before hand may be a good idea. Have fun and make memories!!

Guys will probably think you're with him and avoid hitting on you. That happens to me when I'm with any guy and it's just me and the guy. Sounds like lots of fun!!! I hope you enjoy it.
