Here's the scenario: at least once a day (that I witness) my 5 yr. old spayed female comes within a foot of my older (8 yr. old) neutered male and he hisses at her and she looks like she's saying "what's that all about?" or she'll run away.
They've been together about 5 years. Why hasn't he figured out she's no threat and she learned that he doesn't want her in his "space"?
There are times she can walk by him and he has no reaction whatsoever.
