My baby boy!

Well, he's here. Noah was born at 12:02 am on May 27th! 9 lbs 4 oz and 21 inches long. We're just getting settled in at home and everyone is doing great. I swear, he's the most perfect thing I've seen. Have a look for yourself...

Thank you all so much. We are very proud parents. Oh, and that picture of him was taken at less than 1 hour old. It's all still a little surreal that he's here and it feels like it's been weeks but he's only a few days old.

Frankie was not happy at all at first. DH brought home a blanket they covered us with minutes after he was born (so the smell was very strong) and she apparently thought is was the devil incarnate. Now she's just impartial and mostly ignores him. Neither run when he cries though which is a good thing. Wickett is curious but very cautious which I expected and I think once he knows what to make of this they'll be good friends.

I'm feeling ok... very tired as we've only managed a few hours of sleep here and there the past few days. We're pretty sure he was constipated last night so even though we went to bed at about 11, none of us got to sleep until about 5am. DH is amazing doing everything he can to help, be involved and help me rest. Oh, did I mention his head was 14.75 inches around! We're about to sit down to diner and then I'm going to try and sneak in a nice long hot shower before Noah wants to be fed again.

WOW 14.75 and almost 10lbs. You have me beat. LoL I hope you are feeling ok. I know what it is like to have a large baby.
