Lets find out which TCS cat is the oldest! None of my cats are that old yet-so I did't vote.

Someone might want to make another thread for rainbow bridge cats too!

Good luck!

Siamie is around 21 and still going strong. Thinks she wants to go outside at two a.m. to run the neighbors cats out of the yard.

Coco is 17.3 but she has CRF,High Bp,Asthma and Arthritis.
I think Tom might have the oldest cat in the group because his cat was 21 last year.

All of my girls are under 10....Cleo is 9, Maggie is 8, and Lola is 6. My family has been very blessed with cats that have had very long lives. I hope and pray that my girls will have long lives also. My sister's cat, Missy, is about 11 or 12 now.

Bootsie (the cat we had when I was growing up) 1960-1983 (22 1/2)
Spooky (my soul mate kitty) 1983-2000 (almost 17)
Billy (my sister's cat) 1984-2002 (almost 18)
Samson (my parent's cat) 1987-2006 (19 1/2)

Mistoflees just turned 17. We got him in July of '92, and I can't remember how old he was when we got him- I think he was 6-8 weeks old (from a no-kill shelter).

All I know is it isn't us! I wonder how many of us do have the older seniors though. This will be so interesting - thanks for thinking of it!

All of mine (including the ones that live with my parents still) are under 7 currently:
Nero - 1
Katina - 1.5
Hoshi - 2
Tailpipe - 3
Caliper - 5 (has chronic UTI's and is on prescription food for life)
Chassis - 6 (has already been through sarcoma of the leg)

My family never had a cat live past 11
Our previous kitties were 10 (cancer) and 11 (kidney failure) when they passed on. Sparky was 5 when she had a blood clot paralyze her and cause her extreme pain and was put down. Hopefully the current kitties will all live much longer lives!

Rob's kitty Tigger was 15 when she left for the bridge. If she hadn't developed hyperthyroidism and fluid surrounding her lungs, I believe she would have lived MUCH longer.

My grandmother has had quite a few 17+ cats though. Her current kitty, Brini, is 6. My dad had a cat that was at least 25 when he was younger.

My current two are 19 and 16, bloods done this year show both are in good health, so I may even get Zia into her 20's - I only adopt oldies. I have two senior fosters too, a 10.5yo and a 11/12yo.

RB (inc fosters)

Charlie - 14
Tigger - 5 (only cat I have ever adopted under the age of 10)
George - unknown but in teens
Snowy - 13/15? (there was a dispute on her age)
Blackie - 14
Pebbles - 11
Ginger - 15
Tiger - 14
Rosie - 13
Mabel - unknown but in teens
Norman - one vet said 12, one said anywhere up to 20
Jeannie - unknown but 14+
Tino - 17

Our oldest family cat was 10.

My oldest is 16, but she is a feral cat that I've cared for her entire life and lives outside. A vet told me once that if you add the term "outside" to describe a cat, add 5 years to their age. Using that rule, Indie is 21 right now. And still going strong.
