HI there -
There is no secret I love Orijen, but until recently I had a lot of problems getting it locally... Nobody in Dallas seemed to carry it, and finally I found a stores that does! They carry both Original and the 6-Fish formula, both for dogs and cats, in all sizes.
The store is Doggy Tug, on Mockingbird, close to the Dallas Love Field Airport.

Well, just wanted to let you folks know

I feed Orijen as well but have started mixing it with a grainier food. I've had 2 vets tell me the no grain foods can be a problem for older cats, especially males so I'm not taking any chances. Currently I mix Orijen, Acana, Hills T/D (for his teeth) and some samples of other brands I got at the pet show. I mix them all up in a clear plastic container and give him his daily ration out of that.

Orijen is also very expensive here - I pay over $50 per bag with taxes.

Pretty expensive here too, but they definitely eat less that the others... Since my kitties are quite young, I feel comfortable feeding them a no grain food - after 7 I will mix a little grain.
The Cat formula I pay $45 + tax, and the 6-Fish $52 + tax, I think (for a 15lb bag). That lasts me 2 months in between Bugsy and Lucky.
I wish I could find Acana locally, but that is definitely a hard one!

Since Acana is made by the same folks as Orijen, perhaps that store would order it in from the same supplier. Worth asking about.

Linda it should be but at least where I am that is not the case ... I can get ONLY Acanas grain frees and that took ME calling Orijen and the distributor and about 10 phone calls ... Many distributors choose not to carry whole lines
