I just reinstalled 2...not ready for 3. I heard moving the screen w/ the mouse is different.

You can go to options and fix it. At first it was really annoying because you couldn't scroll anywhere but where one of your sims was, then I figured it out and it was much better.

Ahh ok! I just read that complaint on a sims board the day it came out.
So what's your favorite part so far? After having expansion packs it's hard to play just the base game for me. I don't have the time I used to so I will wait awhile for sims3. I also have the bare min requirements and can't afford to upgrade again.

I love the game!

But on my MAC it's running slow and crashes all the time. It seems to crash less when I save every 15 minutes, but that is such a hassle. I think it is because you have to patch it to make it run on MAC.

Hopefully I will get a new update soon and it will run smoother.

I saw the add and what do you know...I just have to get it.

It's been out here since the 5th and it's $79 currently so if I wait 2 months it should be down to at least $50 then I can afford it.

Also I can't play it on my laptop - so will have to play it on Kieran's PC!

My favorite part is the random opportunities. I have 2 elders and they get them all the time, and it gives them something to do. It's great! Plus I like being able to go to town whenever you want. It's so easy!

You got to get it, you'll love it!

Well, even though I said I probably should get it, I got it the day it came out!!

And sure enough, I'm putting off too much stuff I should be doing in order to make time to play! My house is a disaster, but I'm happy.

I LOVE it! It's got a few things I'm not used to, but that's just a matter of time, I think. I love that I can have a million babies and kick them out when they grow up and never worry about them, but still watch them grow!

I have a sim story!!

My two married sims were family oriented and there lifetime goal was to raise five children from babies to teenagers. Well, they had one baby, and by that time I had enough life points, or whatever they're called to get fertility treatments. So the next time they had triplets. SO three newborn triplets, and a toddler, and I STILL taught the toddler, to walk, talk and use the potty chair. Then when my triplets are finally children, almost teenagers, I have twins. Well, one of my triplets. gets stuck on the property line. You know, like what happens sometimes in computer games. Could NOT move her! So she get worse and worse and I get the message that child services are going to come and take her because I'm neglecting her. Well, I think, I still have five more, so I can still complete my goal. I didn't realize they would take ALL the kids, and they did! I was SO mad! I'd put so many hours into that game. Now, I'm taking a break. lol.

Ugh! I hate when something like that happens! I had a neighbor die in my backyard because he couldn't figure out how to get out. He would urinate on himself and then jump in the pool. So his hygiene was always green LOL!

There is a cheat where you can grab a Sim and place him/her back at home no matter where they are.

I think it is funny because I made Sims of my DH and myself. Well of course the first thing my DH's Sim does is goes to the computer. LOL just like real life! I always make a version of us first. In Sims 2 he started kissing all the females so I built him into a room and let him die. Bwahahaha! He was not happy about that. This time my Sim is working and he cooks and cleans and paints all day. Also, it makes the game less boring because I hated how the Sims would go to work for 7 hours and there would be nothing to do.

The gameplay in this version is a lot more interesting and I like how there are so many variants to the ups and downs through life goals, objectives, and challenges. Really well done!

I always make Jon and me! And actually it was Jon and me that that happened to. One thing I don't like is when you try to speed through something like work, or sleep it doesn't go as fast as it used to. Did anyone notice that? And a new thing is the higher you build a skill, the long it takes to fill one of those bubbles.

The speed issue appears to be across the board (MAC and PC) so I bet they fix it in the first patch. Though sleep time is when I usually make a dash to the bathroom. I'm not noticing too many skill issues but mine are still rather low.
