Yay!! no more waiting!! Pooka had her kittens Wednesday night/Thursday morning. I stayed up with her for the whole process (from about 1:30 am to about 6:30am!) And then went to work for a full day!! She has six beautiful babies and is being a wonderful Mommy!!
She had two white-one of which I think might turn out to be color point-it's ears and toes look gray-ish; two ginger tabbies (like the father) one tuxedo and one calico. But no brown mackerels like Pooka. I will post pics later as I am SOO tired!! I can't wait to have a house full of bad kittens running around!!

Can't wait for pictures. But don't discount on no brown tabbies - the pointed ones could wind up being Brown or Seal Lynx Points (with stripes). Its unusual not to get at least one tabby - that's dominate. But your Red Tabbys got the tabby from mom. BTW the Red Tabbies are only from mom - not from dad if they are boys - mom gives the colors.

And mom HAS to be a Brown Patched tabby if you got a calico and Red Tabbies.

I had looked it up before and I think that the mom is a brown mackerel torbie. If that is correct. I will go with your way more professional opinion.
she is a tan color at the base of her fur with black stripes and then has a bit of white tipping (I think it is called) and she a three or so small spots where she has red tabby marking. Her belly is a light tan with black spots. she is very pretty! and she had so many different colored kittens!! I think that the calico might actually be a tortie instead. I am starting to see some smaller red markings mixed in. although at a couple of days old it is really hard to tell!

I didn't know that they don't get colors from the dad! That is really interesting. Thanks for the info!! I will have pics up soon!
