Quick stop by the shelter

I didn't make it in to the shelter this week; I had too much going on Monday morning.

However, I stopped by this afternoon. A number of familiar feline faces were there, and a few new ones. One especially grabbed me; she's a very scared, declawed, 8-year-old white cat. Beautiful, and soft. Reason for surrender? "Have a new baby."

I can't stand that excuse. Poor baby, I bet she is so pretty and sweet. Where in TX are you?

I hate that excuse too! My Nana recently got a kitten returned to her (she's a breeder) for a similar reason and wanted a refund
