Asking For Back Injection Vibes

Well, it's been a year since my original facet blocks. I got pain relief for a year. Tomorrow I'm going in for a series of 3, 1 week apart. Please pray that I get the same relief as I did before. I'm trying to stave off a posterior lumbar interbody fusion with instrumentation.

The nice thing about working in the operating room is that I know which people are experienced and conscientious, and I requested them to do my surgery! Now I have to bake 'goodies' for a thank you! I'm thinking Cannoli cheesecake....

My thoughts are with you. I hope you get the same relief from these shots, if not longer

A year? I didn't think they lasted that long! If I knew it could work that well for me, and the possible complications didn't scare me, I would get it done. I have facet and disc problems - and last night it was acting up enough that I didn't get to sleep until after three am.

I hope it goes well for you and that you get similar if not greater relief this time around, too.

I hope the block works again! I have no idea what the other procedure you described is but it sounds scary.
