i woke up this AM to Nip chewing on a piece of my bamboo plant. Someone knocked it out of the window while i was asleep, they have never bothered it before. I took it off of him, but i just wanted to know if its bad cause i know some plants are.

Lucky bamboo is not true bamboo it is a species of Dracaena, a member of the water lily family and it is toxic.
I'd get it out of the cats' reach and keep an eye on them.

I hope they've left it alone and what they did get doesn't upset them.

Does that mean that True Bamboo is not toxic? Just curious.

well i explained the situation to my boss who was very understanding, and i ran home to check, theres no way i couldve worked all nite worrying.

the bamboo plant was still in the window and the cats seemed fine, i fed them they ate, they were acting normal. im pretty sure it was onl my trouble maker Nip that ate any and it was a few nibbles off the leaves.

so now im on m wa back to work WITH the bamboo plant to keep in work! ill find something non toxic for my window sill.

sighhhhhhhh...relief!
