Narciss

I lost my gem a few years ago. His name was Narciss (hence the name. He will always be with me, in my heart. His passing was very unneccessary and a very painful and guilt ridden ordeal for me. I don't talk about it much as it still brings tears to my eyes. He was my precious love, my one in a million! I have 3 cats now, Bazil, Trixie and Max. I love them with every fiber of my being, but nothing or no one will ever replace my Narciss. xoxo My heart, my love.

I see that others have posted the details of their cats passings. I can't. I'm sorry. It's too hard for me. i remember him as alive, as always loving...no matter what. As a laugh, his quirks, his mad desire for me, how he was with me through the worst and the best of times. My companion through it all, till the end of his precious life. He's always with me...he truely was my pal. It brings me comfort to know that I can spread the love I have for him on to Max Baz and Trix. They all carry triats of him. Maybe it all happened for a reason. Perhaps he was why I saved these 3 cats I have now. And I love them dearly. He taught me something I needed to know, to spread my love far and wide.

Narciss, I understand perfectly. I have not yet posted about my Pixie, who was so very special. You will never forget Narciss, because part of him is with you, and will always be with you. The tears will never stop coming when you think about him being gone. But the good memories are there too, and they will never stop bringing you joy.

I have faith that God will reunite you and Narciss. He loaned you one of his sweet little creatures, and you, in turn, gave Narciss loving care. In the meantime, know that he is in the loving arms of his Creator, and bringing even more joy to heaven. I don't know how long it has been since Narciss went to heaven, but I pray that you have peace of mind, with the knowledge that you gave him as much joy as he gave you. God bless.

It has only been a few years, and when you are with a special kitty like Narciss was, sometimes it takes awhile to work through it.

No one expects you to give details, and no one would want you to feel guilt, no matter what. The bond between a cat and an owner is a very special relationship. The calm of the stroke of the fur, the power in the purr, the ability of this creature light and nimble to jump up and settle on your chest and take all your troubles away, is something you have been blessed to understand. Perhaps that is why when they pass, they rest in our hearts, because so many times during the day, they are right their on our chest sharing our lives.

Please forgive yourself- that is always the first step to healing.
