Baby kitten & eating issues.

Hello all.

I have a cat Baxter, he is a neutered male & we recently got a kitten, she is 9 weeks. The kitten is trying to nurse off of our older male. He has gotten welts from this, and now actually has open cuts. We have given the kitten suplement milk (she doesn't want it!) wet food, and dry food.. Is there anything I can do?

I would try keeping the seperated unless you are able to keep an eye on them for now. Also there are blankets you can buy for kittens that they can actually suckle on ( not sure what they are called, I am sure someone else will know). Good luck and I hope you have your problem resolved soon.
