I posted yesterday, about Numbnuts and the cyberslut overpaying my alimony, by $54. Today, ANOTHER check showed up! If those two are too stupid, to know how much they've paid me, I'm too smart, to inform them of their error. Hmmmmm - should I send them a thank-you card, for their generous "gifts"?

Cindy if it is a court order and a specific amount, he can nail you for taking more than was ordered. I had that happen to a friend of mine, her ex set her up intentionally, knowing that she needed the money and then he slammed her by suing her. It got really ugly.

Don't keep it. It leaves you open to a law suit. Return it.

Couldn´t you then play dumb if it came up and say you didn´t realize he had payed you too much, and pay him back the extra money?
...Still...people here don´t have lawsuits at each other, so maybe this wouldn´t work.
