"House of Night" Series

I picked up some books yesterday about vampyres. It's a series called "House of Night"

They're pretty good: Much better than the Twilight series. And the writing is superior in that they don't come across as having been written by a child in grade school.

Oh, and they have cats in the books! In fact cats are almost worshiped!

These books are addicting!

I've already finished the first one, Marked. And I'm nearly finished the second one called "Betrayed".

The authors were on one of the morning shows this morning- GMA maybe? I'm going to have to pick one up from the library to see if I like it.

I finished all 5 books in less than a week! The next one comes out in the fall and I'm eagerly awaiting it!

The books are a series, so make sure you pick up "Marked" first. The books get better as the series progresses because the characters' abilities grow and the plot thickens. So you might find the first one not as interesting as you would say the 2nd or 3rd one. But you have to read it in order to really understand what is going on.
