So, I woke up at 5:30 this morning feeling restless and a little put off that Magick didn't crawl out of her box and curl up with me. We had a very productive night last night, she had eaten little more than 2cc of KMR right before bedtime and I was really psyched about today's possibalities! I picked up my head and looked into the box and to my horror Magick was cool to the touch, she didn't appear to be breathing either. I've known that she might not rebound from the dehydration and damage caused by the strongid treatment and goodness knows how long she was hiding before she came out and I noticed how much weight she lost-- so I feared this might happen but somehow even when you think you're ready, you're so not. I was just about ready to say a prayer and cover her with a towel when she started kneading the now useless "hot" waterbottle she was curled up with!
Dispite her still slow and shallow breathing she seems to be doing better than ever this morning, She's still asleep on her newly filled hot waterbottle but drank 1.5cc of KMR for me and she's still pawing and kneading at the bottle in her sleep!
