Where to start? I signed up yesterday, not so much to chat with cat owners, but to reach a wide range of folks who have cats as their best buddies.
My hubby and I have had cats and dogs in our lives shortly since our older son reached the age of 6.......both are now long gone and have familes of their own.
Because we are really getting on in age. Joe is 75+ and I'm 70, our current 2 cats should have been named Wits-End and That's All.
Our 2 babies, (1) Billy (2) Cher, after 14 months of desperation, were finally diagnoised with the parasite: tritrichomonas Foetus (TR)......causes intermintment diarrhea.
It is now my mission in life, what's left of it, to inform the cat-world about this nasty bug, how to test for it and how to treat.
Shortly, I will go to the "Cat Health Forum" and post more information for those interested.
In the meantime, I'm having a jolly time reading your posts.........this could become addictive..........not at all what I had in mind when I signed up with you folks yesterday.
Still have to learn how to use the fonts, sizes, etc......but I'll slog thru' the learning process.
