Had to take one of my cats to the vets this morning. She came in last night and her one eye was so dilated, I feared something nasty was happening to her.

Turns out she has suffered some sort of trauma and has what is known as senica. The pupil is not detached, but it is stuck. She was such a sweetheart being examined, for a feral, I was very impressed. I had to laugh though, they would leave the exam room and while they were gone, if anyone got near the door, she would growl them away! LOL

She is blind in one eye though
But she is doing fine and on some antibiotic ointment for her eye. The vet said she could go years and years without something happening, and then the eye will need to be removed. I just have to keep an eye on her (no pun intended)

hope that she doesn't need the eye removed for a very very long time.

OMG!!!!! Poor baby! That is so sad that she lost her vision in that eye. I hope she adjusts quickly to being able to see out of only one.

I love the image of her growling at the door.
Such a scrapper!
