Daily Thread TGIF May 15th

Morning peeps!

Wooooooooweeeeeeeeeeeeee!! FRIDAY!!!

And we have a long weeeeeeeeeeekend!

I have a very anti climactic laundry night planned tonight Tomorrow now sure what we are doing but we may go to the cottage and we are going ot my moms for a bbq too I think on Sunday. I love long weekends!

Anyhoo, that is all for now...have a great day and weekend cat folks!

P.S. I made my coffee too weak this morning...what an unpleasant surprise

Good Morning. It's warm, humid and cloudy right now but I heard a rumor it's going to be sunny today.

Been up since 4am. I am watching Grey's now. Going to nap around 10ish then wash the sheets. That's all I have planned for today. I hope to do more if my DS agrees.

Morning,

I came in early to hopefully get a lot done at work today. It's been paying off because I'm actually beginning to think I might get caught up before I leave on a trip next Sunday. I had Oscar, our stray, locked up in my utility room Wednesday night and most of yesterday, so it's just beginning to return to normalcy on the home front. I'll go to the gym after work, then probably curl up with a book and a kitty or two after I get home. I haven't decided yet whether I want to try and cut out early or not. Right now I'm leaning towards not, but I'll see how I feel after lunch.

I read knowing there was spoilers so it's all good. I figured John Doe was someone we knew but I turned the tv off before I realized who was missing.

Morning All!!!

Sunny and warm here in cottage country. Going to be a busy weekend around town since most people haven't even opened their cottages yet because of the bad weather. By 6 P.M. we should be over-run by tourist.

Nothing special planned for today. Have to stop by work after lunch to pick up my paycheck. Then to the bank, and pay a couple of bills.

I am thinking of having Chinese for dinner tonight, I haven't had it for awhile.

The kitties are being silly this morning, chasing each other around the house right now. Sassy is even participating which of course has the youngsters all excited.

Morning Everyone! I am sitting waiting to get blood work done....not to thrilled!! I have a lesson on my horses today, then hopefully study for finals since i am working all weekend... I have to ask you canadians what do you mean by cottage, is that like your vacation home? lol I know go ahead and laugh at me! Have a great day everyone!

Its about 76ºF this morning already, back into the 80s to end the week. I've already gotten my 40 hours for the work week, woohoo! It's all overtime from here Going to lunch with Rob, my team leader and one of my coworkers to a place called Five Guys Burgers & Fries. They're addicted

Nothing special planned for tonight. Going to go home, grill some chicken & corn on the cob, and RELAX. No getting up at 4am til Monday This weekend is date night on Saturday, and possibly going to Patriots Point Sunday to see the USS Yorktown and the other ships (cant remember all off the top of my head... USS Clamagore, USS Laffey, and theres one other that begins with an "I"), and the museum!

Tis lunchtime now, I actually had what I consider a productive morning

Went to physio at 9:30, then off the The Flower Ranch (love this place...by the title you can tell what they sell. It's a garden center) and spent $60...

I got 2 hanging baskets, 6 gr. pepper plants, 2 hostas, and 3 trays of annuals.
All I have left to get is the rest of my veg garden stuff. ( 1 tomato plant, cucumber and yellow bean seeds, and carrot seeds).

From there I went to the liquor store, wanted to beat the rush tonight.

Came home, socialised a bit with my neighbour.... and I think I will take a nap in a bit.

Yes Cottages are like vacation homes, a lot of people who live and work in the city have small cottages or cabins that they retreat to on the weekends during the Warmer months, April-Oct. Where I live is actually nicknamed cottage country because so many people like to travel to this area. Funny thing about it is because of the price of waterfront property most of these *weekend getaways* cost more then a average house. And some of the really big ones have main cottages and guest cottages as well.
