... something I don't?!

So, I'm down to a handful of days before my official due date on the 25th. All week I've had excessive swelling and occasional Braxton Hicks contractions but no other signs that labor is coming. The cats however, Frankie in particular, has been acting very funny. I wonder if they don't sense some change in me that even DH and I aren't aware of yet. Frankie has been having several attacks of the kitten crazies a day. She hasn't had kitten crazies in a very long time prior to this. She's been chasing Wickett more, been more vocal and just acting goofy in general. Do you think they can sense my impending labor?
I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow so I'll know if I am moving in that direction or not but I've had Frankie since she was days old and she's almost 12 now. I think she knows me pretty well.

I think cats have an amazing ability a bit like a sixth sense, dogs also seem to have it. They seem to sense things that humans can't at times. Like when I am down but not so down im crying they seem to know so they will mew a little more at me and come to me and snuggle me just that little bit extra it seems. Ive had bad colds and my cats were constantly around me. Sadly my kittens havnt developed this sixth sense yet a part from sensing when the food is freshly out and when its time to play!

My guess would be yes. Animals are so perceptive. They are probably getting excited about the baby.

I'm not sure excited is the right word.
Upset might be more accurate.
Oh well, we've got a blanket scented and ready to bring home for them while we're still at the hospital.

I was at the Dr. this morning and while I'm not really progressing much that also doesn't mean a whole lot. He said he's had women with NO signs of impending labor deliver the next day. We'll just have to wait and see.
